Ingredients

1 pound (450g) fresh potato gnocchi

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

5 ounces (140g) Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Gnocchi: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface, about 2-4 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a plate and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.

Add Cream & Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually add the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, stirring until it melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

Season the Sauce: Season the sauce with black pepper and nutmeg, stirring to combine. Adjust the seasoning to taste, adding more pepper if desired.

Combine Gnocchi and Sauce: Gently add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce, tossing to coat all pieces evenly. Let it warm through for about 2 minutes.

Serve & Garnish: Plate the gnocchi in bowls or on a platter, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
